Greatest Foreign Policy Speech Ever.

Sorry for the delay. As much as I admire Churchill, this is the greatest foreign policy speech ever.

Maybe. Lincoln's Gettysburg Address comes damn close.

Assuming you don't take the first part of the Declaration of Independents as a speech. If you do, it wins.

For the 21st century, so far, let me quote the whole of what I think is the best.

"Let's Roll"

Todd Beamer, Sept 11, 2001.

I could quibble, and argue that the American Civil War was a civil war, and hence a speech pertaining to it was not a foreign policy speech, but I won't. Especially since you could reply that Henry spoke over a year before July 4, 1776, and that the Revolution was still a civil war. Flip a coin.

I was tempted to claim that this was the best foreign policy speech ever, but then I remembered that Bill made it up, and that Hank never actually said it.
